music

You ever find yourself surprised that you are sitting alone? I just had that happen to me. It's only 11 pm! Both of my children and my husband are asleep. I have no idea what to do..which is a rare thing for me so I decided to sit here and see what happens. I've got Twizzlers, Dr. Pepper and Pandora... here we go.

Funny how here I am at 30 years old and wanting to do the very same things I did 17 years ago haha. I want to listen to some rocking music and write. I still have no idea where to start writing... but nothing else about my life is the same.  I guess it helps to bring my mind back to a time when I thought things were hard but I got through it. Of course there are also those songs that I go to because they help me release some violent anger. ;) Truly amazing that no matter how different things are or how much time has passed music triggers so many emotions new and old.

hmmm

Hello out there!

I haven't posted on here in awhile. I think it's time I start posting again. :)

A lot of things have changed since I last posted.

My 4 year old daughter and my 5 year old son have both been diagnosed with Autism. My daughter, Violett, also has sensory processing disorder.

I have finally figured out what most of my pain is. I have early onset osteoarthritis, scoliosis and scheuermann's disease.  Let me tell ya having scoliosis and scheuermanns is quite a trip.  Scolisis makes my spine curve to side and scheuermanns makes it curve forward. That hurts.

I have, sadly, moved from the Seattle area back to Indiana. I'm not loving that too much. We are now out in the country. It wouldn't be so bad but I hate not having fast internet or many people to spend time with. Not that I have much time to just sit around anyway.. but hey it's nice to have that option, right? Right. I hope to someday move back to the Seattle area. It just feels like home there.

My plan is to start making this blog more about my experience dealing with the random, crazy situations life throws at me and my family as well as just the daily grind of taking care of two Autistic children one of which also has diabetes.

If there is anything else you would like me to write about feel free to let me know. If you want more information on a topic I'd be happy to provide that, too. It's your blog as well as mine..... but mostly it's mine :p

Thanks for still reading the whole 4 posts I had before this. There will be plenty more to come.
